We're former loan officers, bankers, CFOs, and financial advisors. We educate and coach small business owners about business funding and building wealth.
We help you understand how lenders and investors see your business, get the financing you need, and build your financial foundation to grow from there. No hype or unrealistic promises. Just honest answers and a clear path forward.
Tell us a little about yourself — we'll point you in the right direction.

Stuck in a carrier lease-purchase? Been turned down for equipment financing? Trying to figure out the SBA loan process? We built this program specifically for you.

Dan founded Jay Street Group to bring clarity, honesty, and practical financial thinking to the small business funding process.
Over the past 25 years, he has worked in private wealth management and financial markets at Citigroup and Deutsche Bank, advised business owners and investors across industries, and built and operated businesses himself. Dan holds an MBA from Columbia Business School.
Dan leads our client education efforts, including business loan workshops and coaching programs.
His focus is helping business owners better understand the funding process so they can avoid costly mistakes, grow a profitable business, and build wealth.

Josh spent 20+ years as a commercial loan officer, underwriter, CFO, and business owner. He's reviewed hundreds of business loan applications from the lender's side of the desk.
He's also been a business owner and the CFO of a construction company — so he knows firsthand what it's like to navigate the funding process from the business owner's side as well.
His focus is helping business owners understand how lenders and other funding sources evaluate them, taking the steps necessary to become fundable, and guiding them through the process from start to finish.
